Genuine Reclaimed Whisky & Wine Barrel Staves – Approx. 50 Years Old
A unique selection of authentic reclaimed wooden staves taken from old whisky and wine barrels. The original barrel staves have been cut in half, making them a convenient size for woodworking, craft projects, rustic décor and BBQ/meat smoking.
Each piece has its own individual character from decades of use, including natural grain, ageing, staining, charring and colour variations. Whisky barrel pieces may have dark/charred surfaces, while wine barrel staves can retain attractive red, burgundy or purple staining.
Approximate size per piece:
Length: 40–44 cm
Thickness: approx. 2 cm
Width: varies from approx. 3–10 cm
Age: approx. 50 years
Genuine reclaimed whisky and wine barrel wood
These are reclaimed vintage pieces, so no two staves are exactly the same. Width, colour, grain, staining, charring, wear and overall appearance will vary from piece to piece. This natural variation is part of their character.
Great for: vintage arts & crafts, woodworking, rustic furniture and décor, signs and displays, upcycling projects, garden projects, or cutting into smaller pieces/chunks for meat smoking and BBQ use.
Choose from different pack sizes to suit your project. Packs will contain a mixed selection of reclaimed barrel staves where available.
Please note: As this is genuine reclaimed barrel wood, pieces may have splits, cracks, nail/hoop marks, staining, rough edges, weathering and other signs of their previous life. Please check and prepare reclaimed wood appropriately before use.
