These are cut sections of used whiskey barrel staves, ideal for burning on a campfire, Fire pit or at home in the fireplace during the winter months
They give out a strong sweet smoke smell and make the room smell like Christmas or the garden smell of sweet Bourbon!
Please note that these cannot be used to smoke or cook meat with. These will have signs of paint or contamination which prevents the wood from being used for smoking meat, however it is perfectly safe to burn as wood on a camp fire, fire pit or at home in the fire place.
The aged oak burns slowely but at a high temperature resulting in a longer lasting fire to normal pine or birch logs.
The chunks come with their own vintage wooden crate, ideal to store them in and can be reused time and time again when you need a top up of wood. The crates are very robust and good to carry 20kg.
Dimensions of the crates are 50cm x 40cm x 30cm deep and they carry between 15-20kg of wood depending on the size of the chunks.
