These are cut sections of used whiskey barrel staves made for smoking meat and use for cooking fuel on the BBQ.
These smoking chunks are hand cut staves from used bourbon barrels. This wood has mellowed some of the finest spirits produced in Kentucky. The bourbon permeates the white oak creating a truly unique smokey flavour.
They give out a strong sweet smoke smell and make the room smell like Christmas or the garden smell of sweet Bourbon!

The chunks come with their own vintage wooden crate, ideal to store them in and can be reused time and time again when you need a top up of wood. The crates are very robust and good to carry 20kg. Once you run out of blocks, you can refill these again with another order of chunks.
Dimensions of the crates are 50cm x 40cm x 30cm deep and they carry between 15-20kg of wood depending on the size of the chunks.
