The barrels have been stripped back, repaired if required, plugged, sanded smooth, then several coats of oil are applied with a high quality grade of oil suitable for barrels, the metal rings are also coated with tough anti rust paint which allows the age and character of the metal to still be seen.
Please note that each barrel is hand refurbished so each finished barrel will differ slightly from the next and the barrel supplied will not necessarily be the barrel in the images on the listing. It will however be a very close match and will be of the same quality workmanship and standards of the barrel pictured.
